Fear of Flying

This client had developed a full blown fear of flying after experiencing a bad flight a number of years ago. When she subsequently tried to face her fear and fly she had a panic attack in the airport and could not board the plane. All in all, this fear was pretty well established.

We worked through a series of techniques to release the fear and to restore her excitement about travelling. As a result, the fear subsided and she booked a holiday to Spain. She returned having had a great holiday, even though she flew back in high winds and she has now flown twice since.

In the client's words;

'I have to admit that at the beginning of the sessions I was rather cynical as I had resigned myself that I would never fly again. However, the techniques, methods and approach we used helped me to unlock my fears over the course of the sessions and gradually change my perception of flying from a negative to a positive, which I never thought was possible.The sessions themselves I found relaxing, safe and enlightening.  The real test came when I booked my first holiday for a number of years and successfully took to the skies with a new found feeling of optimism'.
