OCD

I was extremely nervous about my first appointment with Julie but I was reassured by her friendliness and professionalism. On our first session she taught me the EFT in a non intrusive way. This helped me calm down and take my mind off of the OCD thoughts. Julie wanted me to write a list of things I would like to achieve, which for me were long term goals. One of the things that I didn't think I'd be able to do for a long time was eat with my hands. On my first appointment after writing the list I ate a bowlful of strawberries! Julie has a very calming manner and helps me use the techniques she has taught me to stay focussed and not let the OCD take over my thoughts. Julie knows what pace I need to work at and I feel so much happier already in such a short space of time. I was never sure that anybody could help me overcome the OCD but I know that I have made such good progress by having the right therapist and the right techniques to suit me. I would recommend her to anyone who is in a similar situation.
