My Values

My Values are my guiding principles. They inform everything that I do.

  • Professional and Ethical Standards

I adhere to the professional and ethical standards of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development, the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, the Association for the Advancement of Meridian Therapies and the Association for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. I work within my range of competence whilst continually developing my knowledge and skills.

  • Respect for Difference

Everyone has different life experiences, values, beliefs, backgrounds, faiths and family circumstances. I respect your view of the world and will not impose mine.

  • Belief in my Clients' Potential to Change
I believe that my clients already have the resources they need to achieve the outcome they want. I simply act as a guide in the change process.

  • Flexibility and Choice
I am able to offer flexibility and choice to my clients by working with a range of techniques. One approach does not fit all. People respond to different approaches in different ways. I am able to work with my clients to find the best combination of techniques to help them achieve their goals.
